Top 5 Smartphone Myths Debunked - More Megapixels, IP Rating, More RAM

We all use smartphones, and with this we get to hear a lot of myths related to smartphones.

Today we will discuss about how right these myths are and how wrong.

1. Micro USB Port vs USB-C

People believe that UCB-C port of mobile is faster than micro UCB port in terms of charging and speed. People also believe that the charging speed of the phone with USB-C port will be faster. With this, the speed of data transfer in that phone will also be increased. While in reality there is nothing like that. Other ports can also provide higher charging and data transfer speeds.

2. More RAM = More Speed

People also believe that the more RAM the phone has, the more speed it will work. So in this statement, let us tell that this thing is not completely correct. The good speed of any phone depends on the quality of the ram.

3. More Megapixels = Batter Photos

Many  people have also believed that only the phone whose camera is more Megapixels, only good photos can be taken from those phones. Meaning the more Megapixels camera, the clearer the photo. But this is not completely true. Clarity of photos also depends on the sensor.

4. IP Rating = Water Proof

The phone in which IP Rating is given, especially people misinterpret it. People believe that the phone in which the IP rating is given is completely water proof. Then we put it completely in water or take a bath with the phone, even then our phone will be nothing. But this does not happen at all. The rating of IP indicates just one stand. If a phone has this rating, it can sustain up to 30 minutes in ideal condition up to a depth of one and a half meters (in fresh water only).

5. Mobile Phone and Credit Debit Card

Most people who are older in age also believe that credit debit card should not be kept close to their mobile. By doing this, credit or debit cards get spoiled due to the magnets present in the mobile. While such a statement is not completely true. But it has been heard that the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone has very strong magnets, due to which the cards can be really bad. But this does not mean that every phone has the same threat.
