Amazing Facts about NASA | Technology Facts NASA

Today we will talk about some such facts related to NASA which you may have never heard of.

The speed used by NASA is 91gbps. And if we compare this speed with a normal network, then it is 13000 times more. This speed is used to transfer data between 2 supercomputers. NASA has the most powerful computer in the world but the operating systems used in it are very common.

NASA uses Windows for programming and mac for security. Linux is used where both programming and secrecy factors are required. They are also used by Humans. Humanistic's biggest achievement was the Apollo mission, launched by NASA in 1969. In this mission 3 Astronauts (Neil armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, Michael Collins) were sent to the moon, and 2 of them were Astronauts who stepped there.

This mission should not be possible at all, if IBM would not have supported 3500 engineers with its best navigation system. Because the human computer would have done a mathematical calculation of the mission, but when it came to deploying the calculus on a system, NASA did not have such computer system availabilities or any technology that could support it.

The processor speed used in the Apollo vehicle was 1.024 MHz. If it is compared to the speed of a phone, then its speed is around 1.5 GH, which is 10,000 times faster. And speaking of memory, its size was only 4k. Currently, whatever camera NASA uses for image capture in its satellite is about 53000 mp.
