ISRO remains a matter of discussion for its mission. The reason for this is the successful missions of ISRO Mangalyaan and Chandrayan 2. Everyone is public about these missions and we have always heard the news of ISRO's mission. But even today, there are many such things about ISRO that have not been told even through the news till date. Today we will know about these facts, which you will never hear till today.
1. ISRO started on 15 August 1969, and this day is very special for every Indian. Vikram Sarabhai launched ISRO on Independence Day. Vikram Sarabhai has made a huge contribution in the early days of ISRO, hence Vikram Sarabhai is also known as "Father of Indian Space Program".
2. Talking about ISRO's budget, nasa has a one-year budget more than the money that ISRO has spent in 40 years. Now compared to both agencies, ISRO has proved to be more economical than NASA.
3. Pakistan's space agency Suparco had started about 8 years before ISRO. But today when comparing these two space agencies, Pakistan Space Agency has not been able to move much further. While India has launched about 77 satellites so far, Pakistan has so far launched only 2 satellites. That too with the help of other countries.
4. ISRO's mission Chandrayaan 1 spent about 390 crores, which is 9 times less than NASA's Similar mission. Meaning ISRO has shown its mission very economically.
5. ISRO's budget is less than 1% of India's GDP. Whereas ISRO gives a very good revue in return. Till date, ISRO has launched 89 setellite for only 21 countries. Due to which our country has earned about 700 rupees.
6. India is the first country to succeed in its first attempt to go to Mars. While NASA and the European Union did not succeed in the first attempt.
7. Talking about the history of ISRO, the Incospar was established in 1962. And this organization was further enlarged and then ISRO started. Dr. apj Abdul Kalam was a member of Incospar.
8. The President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has also made a huge contribution for ISRO. Talking about his contribution, Abdul Kalam was the head of India's first successful experiment SlV3. He then led the drdo's missile development program.
9. ISRO launched its first satellite Ayabhatta in 1975 and then ISRO did not have enough capacity to launch its own satellite, hence ISRO launched Ayabhatta with the help of ussr.
10. In 1981, ISRO launched the Apple Satellite and they used a bullock cart to move this satellite from one place to another, because the bullock cart is made of wood when they carry that satellite in a truck or a tampu. Due to the formation of iron, there could be a problem in the magnetic fields of the satellite.
11. ISRO has a lot of respect and uniformity among all the level employees. Which was not seen in the other agencies's Employees.
